What speed is safe to continue on the road for a first timer?

Possibly a silly question, but I've never driven in the city before. The fastest I have gone is 65. If I had to go to town on the speed limit is 75 … but people do not go 75 .. What is the safe speed I should have in what potentionally not get flattened by a point behind me or being dragged by the police? Or should I stay at 75?

I've never seen the speed limit to 75 the limit is 70 mph over fast and normal is 65 mph. I just stay with 65 mph in his case, if insurance can go faster to, but not in front of police officers. Just go with the flow of traffic and stay if you are not comfortable in the right lane and if you do not like speed PPL it will turn.
