would a control arm bushing cause a wheel to jut out while the other one is straight?
I hit a curb, and in inspecting the damage, the left front wheel faced straight while the right wheel jutted out as if to make a right turn, it just made a constant skid the whole way home, the control arm didn’t appear to be bent, however the bushings were severely rotted, when I pulled off the control arm, one bushing split in half. Could this be the source of my problem?
control arm is the arm that is against the frame of the car it either upper or lower. would lean from top or bottom tie rod or another link would be left or right …. even if it had no bushing it would only be a bit …. you bent another part like tie rod im sure and it just happens that that was wore out also
