is it true that you can only get a green swiss army knife in switzerland?

i am going to switzerland this summer, and i have heard that green swiss army knives are not available to buy in any country other than switzerland. i was just wondering if this is true or not. i couldnt find any information on it on the internet!

This is not true. I have a small green one myself I bought at a local store in Halifax, Canada. It looks similar to the one in the link below.
