How Black Dagger Brotherhood against Twilight rate?

I recently finished reading the Twilight series and am now looking for other things to read that have the vampires and romance aspects. Many people are pointing me in the direction of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Without revealing the stories I can tell you how compare and rate each other.

Oh can not even compare. BDB is amazing it is in a totally different ball park then twilight. I think also should be noted that I am a big twilight fan i read the series in 6 days fell in love with the charecters and the plot turns into vampires. He loved them. But when you switch to BDB, see that although it is good that evening was not only very well. It was much written for preteens and that is great but all adults BDB different plots must all twist together discriptions impressive big love scenes. The best part though are the brothers of their different personalities and comedy to add to the books. I've heard complaints about difficult or confusing, and I will give that a bit, but Ward put the glossery in the front that helps with everything in the "old language" and the other things that might be a bit confusing is easily sorted by the middle of book one. By then you will have everything you are and can simply enjoy the best vampire series found yet. (I read a lot of paranormal series)
