The changes that occur in the knee becomes upset and pain often develops due to the injury of some kind, perhaps of less importance. The swelling may occur in the joint, even after a minor injury and even a small amount of fluid in the joint may lead to side effects complex inside the knee. The synovial lining secretes the fluid in response to trauma and this fluid is held within the joint capsule, stretching and irritating even in motion. Once the fluid is present a person who tends to keep the knee in the more relaxed and comfortable position the slight curvature, around 30 degrees.
A semi-permanent or permanent bend the knee, with a loss of extension, may occur if the knee remains bent for too long without fully straightening. The medial quadriceps muscle is responsible for the rotation of the knee in its locked position in the middle of straightening, and if there is a tightness in the muscle can lose and lose its strength. As the weakness progresses it becomes harder and harder to extend the knee completely.
Chondromalacia patella is a commonly diagnosed problem with the cartilage on the underside of the kneecap. Normally, the kneecap is slightly against the slot in the front of the femur and is only pushed hard against her in cargo movements, such as rising from a chair or down stairs. If the knee tightens and loses some of its accessory movements then the ends can be pressed against the femur. This can establish a process of friction between the two areas of bone, especially if there arc leg or knee blows, where the tibia is rotated abnormal or when a leg is longer than the other.
The surface of the joint ends can develop increased irritability and this limits the willingness to maintain a bent knee for any time, preferring to straighten it to reduce the force. While augmentation forces influence the patella, the articular cartilage lining changes and becomes aligned and spongy instead of hard and soft. Further irritation is provided by increased swelling in response to changes in the articular surface, with grooves in cartilage development, as it worsens. Subluxation of the patella, in moving out of its slot to a certain extent, can occur with sudden movements such as spinning.
If the patella subluxation is a sudden and very painful traumatizing event to the surfaces of the joint and can cause considerable pain and swelling in the knee. The patella subluxation or disturb normally outside and this extends to the tissues that hold the knee on the inside, making them weaker and allow abnormal patellar movements to occur more frequently. In severe cases the patella can dislocate repeatedly that can be disabling and various operations are used to improve matters. Tissue may be more stringent the medial side, known as loops, trying to hold the ball more inside.
A major operation, is made if more children age do not work, take the tibial tuberosity, the central bulge below the knee on the shin bone, and move to one side, usually medially. This realigns the direction of forces exerted through the quadriceps kneecap and is designed to make the track more kneecap inwards. Research arthroscopic knee shows a smoothing, with cracks in the surface of the kneecap and the cartilage becomes increasingly damaged. Inflammation of the joints and quadriceps muscle pain inhibits the work, causing wear.
The knee gradually become less support as the muscle Main thigh weaken and waste, with going down the slopes and stairs more difficult, because these activities involve the imposition of greater forces across the patellofemoral joints of the femur. When going downhill you have to stretch the quadriceps, as it controls body weight and this is really stressful activities involving muscle shortening.
The articular surface of the patella may be cleared surgically in a procedure known as arthroscopic debridement, but the result is not always useful. Approximation of the joint surfaces of the exercises or manual pressure is used by physiotherapists but these techniques are not well supported by scientific evidence.
