Black Snake?

I was walking in my backyard and there is no huge black snake there. He did not move when I walked by, but did't try bite or strike anyone. I looked online and I think it's a snake. I know there are poisonous, so I let him be? My dog has been cleared the yard and I will not bite you, but the fact that this snake is catching mice there is too nice … any suggestions?

it isn't a snake is actually called a poisonous snake is black and isn't, but very visious, i suggest you just leave him alone, because my dogs love to do battle, if your dog is any less than rat terrier one worry but my little rat terrier has killed 6 foot black snake with ease, just leave him alone, if it bothers him behind waqlk enought Stomp and almost always so far away, they just screwed slowly out and once they feel the need to lower the guard going to disappear
